Who Am I?
Hey everyone!
My name is Dorota, and I am the owner of this website.
I am happily married with two wonderful daughters.
Having a family and being a parent are the most precious things in my life.
It may sound cliche, but I enjoy caring for them and providing everything they need to live a happy and healthy life.
So, I decided to share with you my experiences, how-to’s, proven methods, and newly acquired wisdom that may help you care for your own children.
In essence, that’s what this website is all about.
I am here to support you throughout the early stages of parenthood.
My goal is to empower you to raise happy and thriving children.

The reality of becoming a parent
Parenthood is a life-long journey that turns your entire world upside down.
Nothing can prepare you for this.
No matter how many parenting books you read, prenatal classes you attend, or internet research you do. Nothing can prepare you for the changes you will face as a parent.
You will basically become a different person. Your priorities will shift. Your perception of life will change. You will realise the world is so much scarier and more dangerous now. You will also discover the inner strengths you never knew you had. And you’ll be surprised at how much you can accomplish with only two hours of sleep.
But, above all, nothing beats the ultimate joy of seeing your baby gaze into your eyes for the first time, flashing a wide toothless smile.
Or when your little one calls you “Mama” or “Dada” for the very first time.
You will literally be overwhelmed with happiness and high from all these extra endorphins.
Because having a baby makes life more meaningful, satisfying, enjoyable, and complete.
Nothing can ever compare to the pure, unconditional love and devotion you will feel for your baby.
And that, my friends, is what makes all the effort and sacrifice worthwhile.
So, Why Do You Need Babe In Dreamland?
Because sleepless nights, constant feedings, endless tears, nappy blowouts and spit-ups all over your new shirt – will ALSO become your new reality.
There will be moments when you’ll be totally lost and unsure of what to do next. You will experience an emotional rollercoaster of very highs and lows. At times you will feel despair, guilt and utter failure.
So you will need encouragement or at least a morale boost.

The ultimate goal of Babe In Dreamland is to empower you to become a confident parent raising a happy, healthy and thriving family.
To guide you through the challenges of early parenthood.
To offer you answers and solutions to problems you may encounter while nurturing your child.
As a parent of two girls, I went through this process. It’s been a challenging journey, especially during the first months. I understand your worries, doubts, anxieties – I have been there too.
I survived it – so can you!

Here you will find practical tips, hacks and tried and tested methods of solving common baby-related issues, such as; baby sleep, feeding, understanding baby cues, calming a crying baby. And many more.
I will back up my suggestions with solid evidence from reliable sources.
Throughout this website, I will also post reviews of a range of baby products along with buying guides. So you can make an informed decision on the best product for your baby.
Now, you need to understand that not everything that worked for my two girls will work for yours. Mind you, I had to use different tricks on my younger daughter as I did with my older one!
Because each baby is unique with their individual personality and preferences.
So, you will have to try and test what works best for you and your child.
As you may already know, it takes a village to raise a child…
